Nose Cold Sores | Some Simple Steps
We all know that cold sores are painful and unsightly. If left untreated they can spread across your mouth and face and even manifest themselves as nose coldsores. The following are a few simple tips on how to effectively deal with cold sores:
1. If your body is to successfully fight infections you need ample rest.
2. Your body needs a healthy balanced diet in order to fight off infections so you need to make sure that your diet contains regular servings of fresh fruit and green leafy vegetables. Foodstuffs rich in vitamin C will help build your immune system, thereby assisting your body in fighting off infections.
3. You should use garlic in your cooking as it is wonderful at helping the body fight infections. We recommend odourless garlic tablets which you can obtain from your local health shop.
4. Help yourself to a nightcap hot drink made with lemon juice, honey and ginger, all of which have known properties in helping to fight infections.
5. Take echinacea. It has been widely tipped as helping with recovery form cold sores and other cuts, bruises and wounds.
6. Try as much as possible to cut all those bad food groups such as sweets and chocolate form your diet. Your immune system is known to be adversely affected by such habits as smoking, drinking coffee and some drugs also.
